At GIR, having the trust of our clients is one of the most important credentials to earn. GIR President, Phil Golden, is a professional engineer in more than 33 states. A century ago, anyone could work as an engineer without proof of competency. However, in 1907 in Wyoming, the first engineering licensure law was enacted with the main purpose to protect the public health, safety and welfare.
Today, every state regulates the practice of engineering to ensure public safety by granting only Professional Engineers (PEs) the authority to sign and seal engineering plans and offer their services to the public. At GIR we are very proud to be able to serve in more than 33 states and counting, offering all our clients trust, quality and compromise in everything we do.
