Phil Golden received his engineering degree from the University of Arizona in 1985. For over 20 years, he has practiced engineering in the design/build setting of ammonia refrigeration contracting. His roles and responsibilities include the full range of design/build projects, including preliminary design, estimating, proposal preparation, presentations, final engineering, and project management.
Mr. Golden has designed and built Ammonia refrigeration projects that range from 100-ton to 4000-ton systems. These systems were engineered and built for major clients including food processors, public and private refrigerated storage, bottling plants, and breweries.
In the summer of 2008, he fulfilled his career aspiration by establishing the independent engineering and consulting firm Golden Industrial Refrigeration. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in 33 U.S. states and counting.
